Kirby Family Farm
Kirby Family Farm is a non-profit educational museum and farm in Williston
dedicated to supporting at-risk youth and children with special needs. Spanning
over 110 acres, the farm uses its vast collection of historic railroad
equipment, agricultural exhibits, and mechanical artifacts as teaching tools to
help children overcome life's challenges.

The farm is particularly
known for its immersive themed events throughout the year, which serve as
fundraisers for their outreach programs. These events often feature the
"centerpiece" of the property: a restored locomotive from the late 1800s that
gives rides to thousands of visitors annually.
The farm houses a railroad museum with an extensive collection of railroading
history, including the original train station from the Six Gun Territory theme
park. Rolling stock includes a number of locomotives and open air passenger
cars. Train rides at their events take passengers on a 20 minute trip around the
farm property.
Kirby Family Farm is open year round to host private field trips, group outings,
and other special occasions - primarily for organizations that provide support
for disadvantaged youth and foster children. Advance reservations are required.
There is no fee for these visits - but donations are requested to help offset
expenses.
They are not open to the general public except on special themed events, which
are held regularly throughout the year. The Christmas Train is a popular holiday
experience featuring thousands of lights and a trip to "Christmas Island." The
ScaryTrain provides a Halloween-themed event with haunted attractions and woods.
One of the larger and more popular events is the Six Gun Territory Wild West
Weekend, which is held annually. It is a nostalgic tribute to Florida’s lost
theme park with gunfights and Western entertainment. The Rock n' Roll Easter
Train is an annual springtime celebration for families.
