Shell Mound Park
Shell Mound Park is in the midst of the Lower Suwannee and Cedar Keys National Wildlife Refuges. At the point where Levy County Road 326 meets the Gulf of Mexico, it is a great spot for remote camping and recreation.

This is a Levy County park with a paved boat ramp for motorcraft and parking for boat trailers. Tent and RV camping are allowed. There is an on-site manager to contact for rentals. Advance reservations are not required or accepted. RV sites include electric and water, with a dump station. Restrooms and showers are available.

Beyond the campground area the paved highway gives way to shell and extends for about another quarter mile until ending at the water. At the end of the road there is another boat ramp perfect for kayaks or canoes.

A boardwalk extends to a fishing or observation deck with great views of Hog Island. There is also a short hiking trail you can take that leads from the entrance road to the observation deck area.Activities & Facilities
