AdventHealth Center Ice in
Wesley Chapel, Florida, is the largest ice sports complex in the Southeastern
United States. Spanning over 150,000 square feet, this multi-rink facility
serves as a major regional hub for ice sports, events, and community recreation.
The facility houses five
total ice surfaces and comprehensive off-ice training spaces under one roof. It
features three North American standard NHL-sized rinks (200' x 85'), one
Olympic/International-sized rink (200' x 100'), and one mini-rink (80' x 40')
equipped with glow-in-the-dark lighting capabilities. The NHL rinks can be
converted into dry floor spaces to host non-ice sports like roller hockey,
basketball, volleyball, and trade shows.
The facility Includes 18 locker rooms, an off-ice fitness center with synthetic
indoor turf, a pro shop, and an on-site sports medicine clinic. It is also home
to Top Shelf Sports Lounge, an on-site full-service restaurant and bar
overlooking the rinks.
The center supports a wide variety of activities for skaters and athletes of all
skill levels: It hosts adult recreation leagues (over 100 teams), high school
teams, youth travel teams, and collegiate club teams (such as the University of
South Florida). The facility also provides learn-to-skate programs, freestyle
figure skating sessions, curling, and adaptive sports programs like sled hockey.
Visitors can enjoy regular public skate sessions, themed ice events, and private
party/glow-in-the-dark rentals.
